The New Zealand School of Music Orchestra, conducted by Kenneth Young, presents its first concert for 2015.
In this celebratory year of Douglas Lilburn’s 100th birthday the programme will open with his 1946 work A Song of Islands. It will be followed by Appalachian Spring by Aaron Copland and conclude with Beethoven’s 5th Symphony.
