This concert features the newly commissioned Remembering by "Kenneth Young":/contributor/composer/1103 , a work for violin and orchestra. The soloist will be NZSO Concertmaster Vesa-Matti Leppanen and the conductor Yoel Levi.
The remainder of the programme includes Rachmaninov's Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini (piano soloist Simon Trpceski) and Shostakovich's Symphony No.12: The Year 1917 .
