This will be the fourth annual NZSO/Todd Young Composer Awards with the orchestra once again conducted by Hamish McKeich .

Eleven young New Zealand composers will have their works rehearsed and recorded for CD by the NZSO. At the conclusion two Todd Corporation Prizes will be awarded. Ross Harris will mentor the composers in preparation for their work’s performance. The composers will also have workshop sessions with percussionists Laurence Reese and Leonard Sakofsky and with Robert Weeks (bassoon).
