The Resound project is a partnership between SOUNZ and RNZ Concert, funded by NZ On Air. It began in 2010, relicensing the vast catalogue of recordings of New Zealand music held in the archives of RNZ so that they may be heard on air and on the internet. Resound also undertook to make studio recordings of works for which no viable recordings were found to exist. These activities continue still and were joined in 2014 by a third venture: the systematic multi-camera filming, editing and online releasing of performances of works by New Zealand composers.
