Nga Pihi 1 and “Nga Pihi 2” (“The Young Shoots”) won Best Children’s Album in the 1995 New Zealand Music Awards. This excellent series is widely used throughout Early Childhood Centres, Kohanga Reo and Schools in Aotearoa New Zealand. The series teaches simple, essential Te Reo Maori through music.
