Amongst the other works on this album inspired by the cause of peace the "Gamjams" are particularly special. Composer and performer Jonathan Besser writes "they are freely improvised ... and are recorded over one December afternoon in 2002. Miranda [Adams] having her own complete Gamelan orchestra and years of study by Miranda, David [Bowater] and Rob [Sinclair] of Indonesian music has made the Gamjams possible." Music for Peace has been made in support of Amnesty International.
