About

Ustulo Terra (Scorched Earth) marks the aftermath of the bushfires that swept through regional Victoria on February 7, 2009 - now known as Black Saturday. It was written when all Victorians were stunned by nature's ferocity and rallying to help the survivors any way they could.

Latin text translation:
Underneath the cauldron sky, the naked flame ignited. Dancers of fire writhed across the land, nature's fury given form and flight. Living souls consumed by the maelstrom left only sorrow behind. When the carpet of ash was laid, humanity reached out to the survivors of the scorched earth.
