Programme Note
Dueling orchestras cycle through genres at whirlwind pace. A dash of do-wop, a sprinkling of Stravinsky, a dollop of drama and a good portion of cheese, binds it all together.
The orchestra is split in half, each conductor is a chef, making the perfect recipe for music. But as the saying goes, too many cooks spoil the broth.. and a musical food fight ensues.
