SOUNZ is looking for an experienced Kaihautū Puoro Māori - Director of Māori Music to join the team to lead and develop the kaupapa and framework for the SOUNZ Māori Music Strategy. This is a full-time contract role, based in our central Wellington office.
The main purpose of the role is to implement and develop the findings of a report from Māpuna Consultants commissioned by SOUNZ to inform the implementation of a Māori Music strategy in the organisation.
The Kaihautū Puoro Māori - Director of Māori Music will report directly to the Executive Director and work closely with other SOUNZ staff.
We are looking for someone to start in January 2019. The contract is fixed term for a period of twelve months.
