In a project especially associated with New Zealand Music Month, composer and pianist William Green begins an annual survey of New Zealand piano music by the decade. He starts with piano music composed in 1940's:
Prelude from Christmas 1943; Theme (from Variations on a Theme); Chaconne by Douglas Lilburn
Two Bagatelles by Ronald Tremain
Romance by Louis Daly Austin,
Three Flower Fancies by Ernest Jenner,
One Came Fluting by AlfredHill and
Patricia Dances by Henry Shirley.
