The Christchurch Symphony Orchestra are conducted by Tom Wood in this programme which includes the premiere of Pan Awakes, a newly commissioned work by Dylan Lardelli.
Swedish cellist Frans Helmerson, here as part of the Adam International Cello Festival and Competition, will perform the poignant Elgar Cello Concerto.The Reger transcription of Bach's O Mensch bewein dein Sunde gross and Mendelssohn's Symphony No. 5, Op 107 in D Major will complete the programme.
