This is the third concert in a series honouring the 65th anniversary of the arrival of the 'Paihiatua Children', the Polish refugee children who arrived on our shores escaping from war-torn Europe.
The concert will feature the past and present music of Polish composers (Henryk Górecki, Witold Lutosławski, Karol Szymanowski) as well as commissions from New Zealand composers, performed by the "SMP Ensemble":http://www.smpensemble.com
