Through 2008, the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra, NBR Opera and The Edge partnered in a project which saw six composers paired with six emerging opera singers in the creation of a new work for voice and orchestra. The project culminated in a "performance in the Auckland Town Hall"::http://sounz.org.nz/events/show/962 in April this year.
In this RNZ Concert broadcast, Sound Lounge, hosted by Kate Mead, features recordings of interviews conducted by William Dart with composers, singers and conductor Hamish McKeich as the project progressed as well as a recording of the consequent concert.
