The Out and Loud Choral Festival runs over Easter weekend from Good Friday 2 April to Easter Sunday 4 April 2010.
Gay and lesbian choirs and choristers from Cairns, Brisbane, Perth, Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Auckland, Wellington and North America are all coming to sing their hearts out, party, attend workshops and perform as part of the massed choir for the Out and Loud gala concert on Easter Sunday 4 April.
The concert will feature the world premiere of a work for massed choir, organ and piano specially commissioned from "David Hamilton":http://sounz.org.nz/contributor/composer/1048 for the festival and conducted by "Dr Karen Grylls":http://sounz.org.nz/contributor/performer/1465. Each of the participating choirs will perform two songs.
Workshops featuring top NZ choral talent that focus on choral excellence for choir members and singers.
