NZSM Lecturers Donald Maurice (viola) and Richard Mapp (piano) present a concert in the popular St-Andrew's-on-the-Terrace lunchtime series.
Donald will play Lilburn's unaccompanied Suite for Solo Viola and then with Richard will perform Lilburn's Salute to Seven Poets. "I don't believe the Suite for Solo Viola has been performed before in Wellington," says Donald, "and the Salutes has never been performed before by viola and piano. The set of works was originally for violin and piano and I have just had this new version published by Waiteata Press."
