A concert of 'two halves' from the Altotude Saxophone Quartet and Quintet X.
The Altotude Saxophone Quartet [Amity Alton-Lee (tenor sax), Lucy Rainey (soprano sax), Greg Rogan (alto sax), Bryan James (baritone sax)] will perform compositions written over the last 100 years especially for saxophone quartets including two works by thier baritone sax player Bryan James.
Quintet X [Kirsten Sharman (french horn), Rachelle Eastwood (flute), Lucy O'Neill (bassoon), Marianna Kennedy (oboe), Taleim Edwards (clarinet)] is a wind quintet formed in 2010 with a commitment to performing both classic and modern works for wind. Their programme includes Francis Poulenc's Sextet for Wind Quintet and Piano with guest performer Paul Romero (piano).
