Throughout 2011 the Jade String Quartet and Friends will present a series of events on Sundays, performing the cream of string chamber music from 17th to 20th century. Highlights will be Brahms, Schumann, Dvorak, Bartok quartets, as well as Brahms sextet and Schoenberg Verklate Nacht.
The members of the Jade String Quartet - Miranda Adams, William Hanfling, Robert Ashworth and Claudia Price - are all prominent members of the Auckland Philharmonic Orchestra, ensuring a series of performances of the highest calibre.
