The Trans Local music series will take place over three events, concerned with creative modes of concert performance that combine music, theatre and sound installation.
New chamber works by a younger generation of composers from throughout the Asia-Pacific will be integrated with electro- acoustic and improvised pieces, by local artists such as Peter Knight, David Tolley and 12 Dog Cycle.
Representing a diverse range of exploratory musical practices, Trans Local is concerned with deep, immersive modes of listening, and the inevitable connection between music and place.
