Under the artistic direction of German pianist Michael Endres, Sonnenalp Resort in Allgäu, Bavaria organizes a festival of fine chamber music.
The New Zealand String Quartet - distinguished internationally for imaginative programming, insightful musicianship and promotion of NZ music - perform Variation 25 for string quartet (inspired by Bach's Goldberg Variation) by one of New Zealand's most important contemporary composers, Ross Harris. The concert ends with the second of Beethoven's Razumovsky Quartets: String Quartet No 8 in E minor, Op 59 No 2.
