Composer Warwick Blair studied with Louis Andriessen and Iannis Xenakis and has been called the 'enfant terrible' of contemporary Antipodean music. His music fuses classical and indigenous musical traditions with electronica in a mesmeric minimalistic soundscape. This will be an important concert and a rare chance to hear the work of a genuinely original composer.
