About
Theme and Variations was originally composed, as a commissioned work, for Stephanie Grey, while she was New Zealand Accordion Champion and principal accordionist with the Air New Zealand Accordion Orchestra. Stephanie was New Zealand solo accordion champion in 1985, 1987 and 1988. Stephanie premiered this work in Auckland in 1989. It was later arranged for piano.
