This work uses improvisation and was revised in 1989. It was performed by the composer's saxophone quartet a number of times in Nelson and was recorded and broadcast on a commercial radio station there in the 1980s. Subsequently Debbie Rawson's group 'Saxcess' performed it and recorded it for a Radio New Zealand programme in the early 1990s and it has been broadcast a number of times in the 1990s on Radio New Zealand's National programme.
