About

Gypsy Girl is a musical story about Richi, a half-gypsy girl. Richi’s parents died when she was quite young so she lived with her old Aunt in a Gypsy wagon. When her old Aunt dies, Rithi is left destitute.

She was forced to go to school. At school, the children dislike her, she is too different from them and she stinks. Their dislike leads to hatred and violence. They torment, tease, bully and finally mob Richi, thinking they have killed her.

Later, full of remorse, the children try to make amends and become friends, but find Richi too stubborn, too proud and perhaps too deeply hurt.

This musical can be hired from Viscount Productions.
