When I read about the annual Waiheke Island Wine Festival being held at a place called Isola Estate I had a picture of perfection taking shape in my mind. In this work I decided to explore the other side of that – the imperfection.
The music takes us on a dark and abstract journey through different phases related to drinking wine: the anticipation, the taste and the effects it has on the mind.
