This song is a lullaby about a relationship between a mother and her unborn baby, whilst still in the womb. It describes the excitement, the delights, the exasperations and dismays of an expectant mother (or pregnancy). The words also describe how the baby responds to the mother’s voice and touch via movement and through familiarisation settles to rest in contentment.
