cloud transcription was written for period instrument ensemble Katapult (Dylan Lardelli - Baroque guitar, Eric Lamb - traverso flute, Lizzy Welsh - Baroque violin, with guest Laura Moore - bass viol). The work exploits the quiet voices of these instruments, but projects energy via a subdued restlessness throughout.
