These short piano pieces were written with friend in Taipei in mind. He had embarked on learning the piano as an adult student, and I was impressed by his commitment to the instrument and his lessons.
Each piece is identified with a landmark in Taipei, Taiwan's largest city, although some of the titles came 'after the event' and were only added as the composition of the cycle was being completed!
Like a postcard, each piece is brief and to the point - often only a single page of music.
