Inspired in part by legendary film soundtracks such as Howard Shore's Lord of the Rings, John Powell's How to Train Your Dragon and Joe Hisaishi's Studio Ghibli scores (to name a few), "We Yearn to Tell Stories" is a musical reflection on our innate need for storytelling as humans. It seeks to explore the thrill of building worlds, characters and narratives. It also portrays the ebbs and flows of the creative process, before finally capturing the joy and elation that results from witnessing a brand new story finally come alive.
