Elizabeth has played violin in professional orchestras, in both America and New Zealand, for the past 24 years. She led the University of Wisconsin Orchestra and was a first violinist in the Madison Symphony and Wisconsin Chamber Orchestras, while she studied for her Ph.D. in Mathematics and minor degree in Music. She has also been a first violinist in the Wellington Orchestra for several years. Recently Elizabeth has been focusing on music teaching, chamber music, and of course her four young children. She enjoys taking the Smart Music classes and tutoring violin students from three-year-old beginners to advanced performers.
